A lacy pattern and delicate shape make this a lovely ending for loomed or stitched beadwork. It works similarly to a ribbon crimp and the opening can be adjusted to fit materials - insert plier jaws and spread to widen, and use fingers or nylon jawed pliers to close. Reinforce hold with adhesive as needed. Did we mention it's crimpable?
